Shakespeare Theatre Company offers an exciting array of classes taught by working professionals, award-winning actors and veterans of the Shakespeare Theatre Company stage including Naomi Jacobson, Floyd King, Andrew Long, Nancy Robinette and many others. Our classes are designed to engage students at all levels with the art and craft of theatre in a variety of formats to work within anyone’s schedule.

Menu of Course Offerings

  • Classes Traditional 6-10 week classes for teens and adults
    • Fall 2011 (starting September 17)
    • Winter 2012 – (starting January  21)
    • Spring 2012 – (starting March 15)
    • Summer 2012 (courses announced in May 2012)
  • Workshops and Intensives
    • One-day workshops on special topics for actors, hobbyists and business professionals.
  • Professional Development for Teachers
    • A series of workshops for classroom teachers to explore how theatre arts can support standards-driven curricula.
